Christian Science Reading Room

The Reading Room is a quiet sanctuary for prayer and study as well as a book store.

In the main room you will find a selection of Bibles and Bible reference books as well as a variety of books about Christian Science and biographies of Mary Baker Eddy, the discoverer and founder of Christian Science. You may read or review any of these materials to see if there is something you would like for your own library. You can listen to audios of the current Bible lesson or an array of musical CDs with instrumental or vocal talents presenting hymns and inspirational songs. There’s a children’s corner with reading materials written for them, featuring Bible characters and some of the basic teachings they would learn in Sunday school.

A Study Room with vintage and current Christian Science Sentinel  and The Christian Science Journal  articles are housed in bound volumes and a computer is available to access the many Christian Science websites. A section of this room is for the sale of “Used” books at wonderfully discounted prices.

The sales room is located at the entrance of the Reading Room. Here you may buy or order books, pamphlets, musical CDs, Christian Science periodicals and the award winning, international news magazine, The Christian Science Monitor.

Feel free to come in and use the Reading Room for research, prayer and study, or purchasing gifts for yourself and others. An attendant is always there to answer any questions you may have.
