Sunday School and Childcare
The Sunday school welcomes children and young adults up to the age of 20, during the same time that Church services are being held.
The students are taught from the King James Version of the Bible and from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures and other writings by Mary Baker Eddy. The pupils' first lessons, as described in The Mother Church Manual, are the Ten Commandments, the Lord’s Prayer with its Spiritual Interpretation by Mary Baker Eddy, and the Sermon on the Mount. Young students start with learning beloved Bible stories and how they can be applied to their lives today, while older students get into lively discussions, through questions and answers, pertaining to the Lesson/Sermon for the week.
Experienced teachers share the rich lessons in the Bible as they apply to everyday life and encourage children to listen and rely on God for themselves.
The Childcare Room is a bright and cheerful haven for infants and toddlers up to the age of four, during Sunday services or children up to the age of seven on Wednesday evenings. These little ones are lovingly cared for by dedicated attendants.
